Conni M Awarded a Premium

The Contendro I daughter, Conni M, was awarded State Premium candidate status at the broodmare performance test in Vechta. This three-year old bay mare was bred by  Zuchtgemeinschaft Müller, Wangerland, out of a dam by Acorado. Her granddam is the dam of the show jumper Carlo Carlucci, ridden first by Sören Pedersen (DEN) and now successfully by another Danish rider, Christian Schou, in international Grand Prix.


Hanoverian May Auction with nine Contendros 

Nine off-spring by our Contendro I were sold for good prices at the Hanoverian May Auction in Verden.


Castrum BF and Comtessa Split Victory

Victory in the Famos-Pferde-Championat for five-year olds was split by Castrum BF and Comtessa. Both of these Contendro off-spring finished the elementary (L) level jumping test with a score of 25.7. With 25.6 Czardas, a horse raised by Gestüt Famos, was hard on their heels and took third place.


Contessina Couldn't Be Beat

With a total result of 27.1, Contessina clearly led the field in the Famos-Pferde-Championat in the class for six-year olds and won the winner's premium of 5,000 Euros. Second place and 3,000 Euros went to the licensed top auction horse and Vice Bundeschampion, Codex One (total score: 26.1). Third place and 2,000 Euros were pocketed by Collin.


El Paso Wins the Munich Masters

El Paso got off to a perfect start at the Pferd International Show in München. Under Markus Beerbaum, this ten-year old gray Hanoverian also remained fault-free in the jump-off of the Munich Masters, crossing the finish line after just 53.02 seconds. With that result the pair were two and a half seconds faster than the second "zero fault" round presented by Frederik Knorren with Aspen (55.37 seconds). Felix Hassmann on Horse Gym Carefina had the fastest 4-fault ride.


Schedule for the Late Entry

We have received entries from all over Germany for our Late Entry Show that will take place on May 1st here at Gestüt Famos - which promises exciting sport. We would be very pleased to be able to welcome all you breeders and friends of Gestüt Famos here in Syke-Wachendorf for the show tomorrow, Thursday, and our Open House Day. 



Contendro I Son Successful in Australia

At the Dressage with the Stars Show in Australia, the Contendro I son  Bellaire Cannavaro (dam by Freiherr) who was licensed in Redefin and bred by Klaus Wenske, Uelzen, had the highest score for his canter (8.5) in the class for four-year olds. With a total score of 8.3, Bellaire Cannavaro was on second place after the first round in the class for riding horses and then finished third with 8.25 in the second round. This brown Hanoverian was presented by Georgina Cattermole.


Late Entry at Gestüt Famos

Gestüt Famos invites all horse friends to the premiere Show Jumper Championships and to the Show Jumping Competition sponsored by the Montagsclub on May 1st in Syke-Wachendorf . Prize money in the Championships for five and six-year old off-spring by the stallions at our Gestüt runs to 20,000 Euros in total.


Arezzo/ITA: El Paso 15th

The most recent success for El Paso and his rider, Markus Beerbaum, was in Italy. In the Grand Prix of Arezzo in the Toscana Tour , they finished 15th after knocking down one rail in the second round. Time: 78.03 seconds. The test was won by Juan Carlos Garcia/ITA on Hamilton de Perhet. 


Diabolo Finished Seventh in Lastrup

Diabolo d'ysieux and Daniel Heuer finished on seventh place in the advanced (S**) level show jumping test in Lastrup. The first round for the pair was fault-free but in the second round one rail fell (45.27 seconds). The highest test at the show was won by  Jan Wernke on Adelaide (36.93).

In the medium (M) level test, Little Rocky and Daniel Heuer took sixth place (49.62). First place went to Hilmar Meyer on Shorena (47.89), followed by Hartwig Rhode with Arjana (47.91).
