St.Pr.A. Electra Sold for 30,000 Euros

The dark bay Contendro I daughter Electra was knocked-down at the 68th Oldenburg Elite Auction in Vechta for 30,000 Eurosn. Electra was bred by Heino Lüschen, Wardenburg, and passed her broodmare performance test last year with a score of 9.0 for her jumping ability. Afterward she received State Premium candidate status. Her full sister, St.Pr.A. Charade, was also sold at the auction in Vechta - directly Mario Stevens' jumper stables.


Cassandra Wins in Vechta

"Lots of fighting spirit, powerful lift-off and an ideal manner over the jump" was the unanimous opinion of the two judges, Jürgen Esch and Ulrich Henschke for the five-year old bay mare Cassandra (by Contendro I-Silvio I, breeder: Heino Lüschen, Hatten) under Mario Stevens. A score of 8.7 meant victory in the novice (A) level jumper test at the 23rd Show Jumping Championships for former auction horses in Vechta.


Contendro I Off-Spring Convincing 

The translation of a quote from the magazine, Der Hannoveraner, April 2008 issue: "The signs that were seen at the free-jumping competitions, the auctions and the broodmare performance tests have now been impressively confirmed.  Contendro's off-spring are absolute high fliers. Three representatives from his first crop are among the ten highest winning youngsters in the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program." (by Britta Züngel)

At the 118th Hanoverian Elite Auction on April 11th and 12th in Verden off-spring by our Contendro I will again dominate the lot of jumpers. 


Corrected Schedule for the Late Entry

Here you'll find the final version of the schedule for our Late Entry Show on May 1st that will take place on our Open House Day. For the first time there will be a championship for Famos horses - for five and six year old horses by Famos stallions. The prize money for the three first placed candidates is very attractive! 


Contendro I Daughter Qualified in Westphalia 

With a score of 8.25 the still yet unnamed black-brown Contendro I daughter (dam by Wenzel I) bred by Wolfgang Rabe, Kalletal, qualified for the Westphalian Free Jumping Finals on April 16th and 17th at the Westphalian Horse Center in Münster-Handorf.


Erfurt: Daniel Heuer and Diabolo Take Eighth in the Grand Prix

In the Grand Prix of Erfurt, Daniel Heuer and Diabolo d'ysieux took eighth place. The couple followed behind the winner, Lars Nieberg on Levito and second placed Hans-Helmut Bauer on Linus.

In the Final of the medium tour, he and Ravel added a sixth place. For the 2-phase course, Ravel and Daniel Heuer needed 44.97 seconds. First place in this competition went to Sönke Kohrock with Aldato As (35.88 seconds) and second place to Lars Nieberg with Lisarazu (35.99).


Late Entry Show at Gestüt Famos

Here you will find the schedule we announced for the Late Entry Show on May 1st at  Gestüt Famos which is especially interesting because of the generous purses for two of the FamosPferde Championships for five and six year old show jumpers. 


Schedule for Young Jumper Tests at Gestüt Famos

The schedule for tests for five and six year old jumpers by Contendro I is finished and will be posted here very shortly. A good number of top "couples" have already shown their interest in our jumping event that will be held on the occassion of our Open House Day on Thursday, May 1st at Gestüt Famos bekundet.


Daniel Heuer Finishes Fifth in Bremen

With a fabulous ride, Daniel Heuer and Ravel jumped up to the fifth position in the advanced (S***) level jumping test at the euroclassics in Bremen. The pair remained fault free in a time of 42.01 seconds. The test was won by Oliver Lazarus (RSA) on Crocket (36.13 seconds) ahead of Manuela Schweizer (SUI) with Lacorada (37.36) and Gilbert Böckmann with Böckmanns Olivia (37.86). By the way, Ravel is a bay Holstein gelding by Riverman-Fridericus. He and our trainer Daniel Heuer have already won many top class show jumping competitions.
